PRESIDENT - KENNETH R. ORR, Independence, Missouri.

Graduated from Kansas State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science. Employed by Langston, Kitch & Associates from 1975 to 1978 as a Project Consultant, where he served as a schedule consultant to General Contractors and Owners, as part of nationally oriented Construction Management Firm. Employed by DiCarlo General Construction Company from 1978 to 1984 as Project Coordinator, where he served as in-house Scheduling Coordinator and Supervisor of Project Management Operations for this Midwest based General Contractor. Formed Orr Construction Management in 1984 and has been President and principal contact as O.C.M. provides General Construction, Construction Management and Scheduling Services on a national basis. Was awarded the Project Manager of the Year award by the Greater Kansas City chapter of the American Subcontractor’s Association in 2001. Provided Project Management/Scheduling Services for above referenced organizations on numerous projects, including Barney Allis Plaza Restoration, Saks Fifth Avenue, Two Pershing Square, and Yellow Freight System General Office Expansion. Has served as O.C.M.’s Project Manager for the Grain Valley Civic Center, all of O.C.M.’s work for the Pleasant Hill School District, the Oxford, Harmony and Overland Trail project for the Blue Valley School District, the Harrisonville-Cass School District Stadium Renovation project and the Scott Community High School Project in Scott City, Kansas along with providing Project Management and Scheduling for various other O.C.M. projects.

 

 

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - JOHN D. WARRIOR, Overland Park, Kansas

Graduated from Kansas State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science. Employed by John M. Fogel Construction from 1975 to 1987 as Project Manager and Estimator. Employed by Deibel Construction, Inc. from 1987 to 1988 as Project Manager and Estimator. Employed by Carlson Construction Company from 1988 to 1995 as Project Manager and Estimator. Joined O.C.M. in March 1995 as a Construction Manager and Estimator. More than 30 years experience in estimating and project management for General Contracting and Construction Management organizations. Constructed 30 projects in seven states from 1988 to 1995 for two major national chains. Has served as O.C.M.’s Project Manager for the Olathe School District’s work and as O.C.M.’s Owner’s Representative for Rockhurst College and at the Union Station, along with providing Project Management and Estimating for various O.C.M. projects.

 

 

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - KENNETH A. KURE, Stilwell, Kansas

Attended Rockhurst College from 1962 to 1964. Employed by Paragon Energy Corporation from 1964 to 1984 as Project Superintendent, Project Manager, and Construction Manager for municipal, governmental and defense related projects ranging in size from one million to twelve million dollars. Joined Foley Company on 1984 as Construction Manager specializing in defense related government construction on a nation wide basis including top secret projects for the Pentagon. Served as Vice President of Operations and President of Foley Company from 1987 to 1995. Joined O.C.M.  in 1996. More than 30 years of experience in project management, value engineering and estimating for general and mechanical contractors. Provides Estimating and Project Management for various O.C.M. projects.
